PUXANO Attends the Instruct-ERIC Biennial Structural Biology Conference 2026

27 May 2026

From 27–29 May 2026, PUXANO attended the Instruct-ERIC Biennial Structural Biology Conference in Brussels. Representing the company were our R&D Manager, João Ramos, and Head of R&D, Moisés Maestro López.
The conference brought together researchers and technology developers from across the structural biology community, providing an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest advances in cryo-electron microscopy, integrative structural biology, and related technologies.
For PUXANO, the event was a valuable chance to connect with academic colleagues and discuss current challenges in cryoEM research. Throughout the conference, João and Moisés shared information about our cryoEM grid technologies, including our graphene-coated grids and tilted graphene grids, which are designed to help address challenging cases of preferred particle orientation.
The event also offered valuable insights into emerging developments in cryoEM and integrative structural biology, while providing opportunities to engage with researchers from a wide range of scientific disciplines. These discussions help us better understand the evolving needs of the structural biology community and continue improving our technologies.
We would like to thank Instruct-ERIC and the conference organizers for hosting an excellent event and creating an environment that encourages scientific exchange and collaboration. We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting researchers with innovative solutions for challenging cryoEM applications.
