Job Description and Tasks
PUXANO is looking for a motivated Director Business Development and Sales to further mature the PUXANO business and sales engine. Being part of a young company, you will have an important role in the further growth of PUXANO from start-up to scale-up. Key activities include:
- finding new business opportunities whereby PUXANO platform technologies can be deployed as service packages for structure-based protein research (e.g. gene to structure services, LNP QC, epitope mapping, protein interaction studies)
- developing partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other protein-based companies related to protein engineering (vaccine development, protein therapeutics, protein-based crop protection products)
- setting up a sales pipeline for the PXN cryo-EM Grids and the PUXANO procondor platform products.
- building a sales engineering team for the EU, UK, US and Asia market.
Requirements and Competencies
The candidate
must:
- have a solid understanding of protein biochemistry, structural biology or protein engineering obtained through a scientific degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biomedicine, Physics or other academic training related to life sciences (minimum master degree, preferentially PhD).
- have >2 years of experience in business development and/or sales.
- be proficient in English (oral and written).
